Each form has Inbound REST API and Outbound Event Driven Integration securely available for every Application. Data Points, Generated Documents and Attachments can be pushed or pulled by calling API operations or configuring automatic integrations to occur when events are triggered.

  • Inbound REST API

    Call Inbound REST API from existing systems or create reusable services and stand-alone Aapplications. See detailed Kim Document Postman REST API specification or view the following service summary.
    Each form is an Application that has a secure REST API with these operations.
    Create Record - send Data Points to create a Record and generate a document.
    Update Record - send Data Points to update an existing Record, and version and generate a document.
    Retrieve Bulk Download - retrieve all Records for a Webform.
    Retrieve Bulk Download with Delta - retrieve all new or updated Records from the last checkpoint for a Webform.
    Get Record Status - get a Record's created or last updated state.
    Enterprise Search - retrieve all Records using filters such as content, username, date, subject, notes and activities for a Webform.
    Create Note - create a note on a Record.
    Get Note - get notes for a Record.
    Create Record Attachment - create an attachment on a Record.
    Retrieve Record Attachment - retrieve attachments for a Record.
    Delete Record Attachment - delete attachments for a Record.
    Generate Document - send data to this service and receive a generated document.
    Get Template XML - send Application ID and receive the Data Point schema.

  • Outbound Event Driven Integration

    Outbound event driven integration is a configurable model with an open REST API that triggers when Record Create, Record Update, Record Close, Click and manual Actions occur. Integrations can send or receive Data Points and send generated documents and attachments. Mapping and transformation with script capability is built-in to customize the map and interface with target endpoints.

    Listed below are products with preconfigured connectivity. To use these preconfigured services, select from the list, apply your OAuth credentials and map the Data Points and Documents. If you don't see what you need and have a REST enabled endpoint, configure a custom integration.
